• genkernel - an automated kernel-building tool, used by Gentoo Linux users and for building kernels for its releases

• hwdata - a fork of Red Hat's hwdata package used to feed data to hwset on Gentoo Linux release media
• livecd-tools - a set of scripts used to perform auto-detection and OpenGL setup on a LiveCD
